The Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DFAR), together with the Ministry of Fisheries, Aquatic and Ocean Resources and the National Aquaculture Development Authority (NAQDA), is organizing “Aqua Planet 2025 – World Fisheries Day Celebration”, scheduled to be held from 21st to 23rd November 2025 at the Lotus Tower Premises, Colombo 10.
- This landmark national event marks the first-ever fisheries exhibition in Sri Lanka, aimed at promoting the fisheries and aquaculture sector by creating opportunities for trade, investment, market linkages, and knowledge sharing.
